Narrative

“The first dance will be the bride and the groom.” the announcer stated. The bride and groom go onto the dance floor and start dancing. The bride and groom enter on the dance floor, the bride with her flowing pearl colored dress and the bride with a simple black tuxedo. They are so in love they forget everyone else around them, they forget their family and friends are there watching them while they dance. Or so everyone thinks they’re in love and it’s a mutual thing. The bride and groom have been friends since they were little kids and now they decide it’s the right time to get married at the young age of 21. Of course the groom is in love with his new wife but she’s wasn’t even sure she wanted to get married, she felt it was a forced marriage.
While the groom is only looking at his new bride, she is glancing into the distance at the best man. The grooms best friend! She’s always liked him but not more than her newly wedded husband, today however she notices how good he looks and honestly she would rather be with him right now than her new husband. Her husband nagged her the whole time they planned their wedding, isn’t that her job she thought, they had complete opposite roles in planning this wedding, where she paid for the majority of it too. And after being together for about twenty years or being friends with him for that long she wants someone new and exciting in her life. She always saw her husband as a best friend but when he asked her to marry him she couldn’t say no.
For now there honeymoon is another story and as for their marriage, how long that will last isn’t to be even talked about at this point. The groom has no idea his new bride is in love with his best friend. “So much for being best friends and saying you’ll be there for me.” The groom said three weeks later when he found about the love affair going on between the two.
