Joseph Carroll are both photgraphers in California on Madison Ave. They're not your everyday photographers either, they like to use a very distinct style and make each picture for their clients unique. Carroll even made some accomplishments which include awards such as the Fuji Masterpiece award, New Approach award, and the best portrait of California.

This photo has a tone of subtly, it gives it that warm feeling of a family. The color is sypia which makes it better than if it was to be black and white or color. The family shows juxtapostion which gives a harmony between them all and shows their love for one another. Value of light puts the focus more on the baby than her parents. Also the balance of the light is hit perfectly in the middle where the focus is.

The baby is almost a year old and her parents adore her more than everything. After a long day taking care of her child the mother lays down to take a nap and her and her baby lay on the sofa. The mother as the viewer can tell is asleep when the father comes home. He thinks it's beautiful to see both his wife and daughter together and gives his child a kiss. The viewer can see that the family loves each other a lot.

Art Critique1

Many people compare the work of Emile Munier to his teacher William A Bouguereau. William taught him the "porcelain-like features" which appear in Emile's painting now. Emile's main subjects were landscape and portraits. Much of this French artists work can be found in the Parisian Salons and one paing recieved an honorable mention. It's not said exactly where you find Emile's paintings, but the majority are in the United States and Europe.

This oil painting "Pardon Mama" has warm tones which in a way creates a sense of love, a sense of bonding between the two. It also creates caring which the mother has for her child. The main focus is on the mother holding the daughter. The contrast between the background and foreground is clear and makes the mother and daughter stand out even more.

The mother was just sitting down, relaxing from her day when her daughter runs to her. The mother tells the daughter not to worry, she tells her she'll always be there for her daughter. The daughter looks up knowing her mother will be and the mother looks down to comfort her.

concept folio idea

For my concept folio I'm thinking of doing love. The different types of it or something like friends, family, motherdaughter, father son, boyfriend, wife husband. but I still don't know yet.
